Tiger & Baggy are the two boys we kept from the successful breeding of Sugar with Nancy Spiller's Jules, made with frozen semen sent from the States, and performed by Dr John Watts at the Vetinery University of Liege in Belgium , resulting in 12 healthy pups.Their brothers & sisters are placed all over the world to good and happy homes from Chicago to Riga,Oostende and the south of France.
As they grow up they seem to be very different types. Tiger taking after his mother and father . Very tall and chic. And Baggy with his square and stocky frame reminding us of his grand mother Primrose. There were quite a lot of white markings with this litter which worried us at first but the pups are of such a fine quality it matters less as they grow older. The reason we ended up keeping Baggy is because at the last minute possible buyers started to negociate his price because of his big white paw! It was of course out of the question and so far he looks like he will grow into a really gorgeous big Mastiff with the most playfull and affectionate character. We had always intended keeping Tiger from the start. As he was so big and fat. We had to put him on a diet at 4 weeks as he was just too big. He still has his hungry appetite, checking everybody elses bowls for leftovers (which is never the case) but at the moment he is so tall and lanky that he will take a while before he fills out his long frame.
They are two lovely boys with the most wonderfull temperament. So far things are OK with grandad Percy for the top dog spot around the house. He lets them know who is the boss and they just roll over onto their backs happily wagging their tails.
